Sec Noem: "I had a conversation with the Senator [Alex Padilla] after this. We sat down for 10-15 minutes and talked about the fact that nobody knew who he was. He didn't say who he was until he already had been lunging forward and people were trying to detain him ... Coming into a press conference like this is political theater."

It has come to our attention that a location for staging resources (bathrooms, water, pretzels) was posted on Social Media.

Deep south is drowning! Threat of submerged impassible roads and towns will slide into Mid Mississippi River Valley Friday.

With regard to the incident in LA this afternoon, the Senator in question was not wearing a security pin and physically resisted law enforcement when confronted. Our FBI personnel acted completely appropriately while assisting Secret Service and we are grateful for their professionalism and service.

Our message to illegal aliens is clear: LEAVE NOW. The U.S. taxpayer is generously offering those in the country illegally $1,000 and a free flight home through the CBP Home app.

Self-deportation is the best, safest and most cost effective way to leave the United States to avoid arrest.

If you don’t leave now we will find, arrest, and deport you.

Democrat Senator Alex Padilla should be ashamed of his childish behavior today.

He crashed the middle of an official press conference being held by a cabinet secretary, recklessly lunged toward the podium where Sec. Noem was speaking, and then refused to leave the room and follow the directions of law enforcement officers.
