Texas: Houston police are investigating a crash on Highway 288 involving two law enforcement officers during a funeral escort on Tuesday afternoon.

Officials say that an Oyster Creek reserve officer was riding a motorcycle, rear-ending a Lake Jackson Police Department patrol vehicle on Highway 288 near Holly Hall.

The reserve officer was taken to the hospital, where his condition is unknown at this time, police said.

The driver of the Lake Jackson police cruiser was not injured in the accident, according to law enforcement.

Tennessee: A Robertson County Sheriff’s deputy was injured in a crash on Tuesday night, according to Smokey Barn News.

SBN reports the crash happened when the deputy’s patrol car collided with a commercial flatbed vehicle on Highway 31W near Stearman Drive around 8:40 p.m.

The deputy was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Ohio: A Hubbard Township police officer was injured in a crash early Wednesday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers were called to the intersection of Chestnut Ridge Road and Wick Campbell Road in Hubbard Township around 3 a.m

OSHP said that the officer had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
