An officer-involved shooting unfolded near 95th Street and Roberts Road in Hickory Hills, where police exchanged gunfire with a suspect during a tense confrontation.

According to initial reports, the incident sparked a heavy emergency response as the situation quickly escalated.

Citywide 1 says Officer shot in the leg, per Chicago Scanner.

Credit Card Update!

After 13 weeks, the program to audit unused/unneeded credit cards across 32 agencies has resulted in ~523k de-activated cards.

As a reminder, at the start of the audit, there were ~4.6M active cards/accounts - we are now expanding the program to more agencies, as there is much more work to do.

A burglar who got away with a large amount of gold and valuables is believed to have caused an explosion while using a blowtorch to break into a jewelry store in Glendale earlier this week.

BREAKING: SCOTUS has granted the Trump administration permission, for now, to revoke status of the more than half a million migrants who flew into the U.S. via President Biden’s controversial CHNV mass parole program. A lower court had blocked the move, SCOTUS now staying that The Biden administration really set these migrants up for a rug pull - without telling them. 

They were so desperate to artificially deflate Border Patrol illegal crossing numbers that they began using executive parole authority to allow 1.4 million to come in via these CHNV flights and the CBP One app - welcoming these migrants in and urging them to use these programs as they weren't counted in Border Patrol data. 

What they never told the migrants is that same executive authority could be used by another president, in this case, Trump, to immediately revoke and terminate the humanitarian parole grants Biden gave. 

In this case with CHNV, that's more than 530,000 migrants who thought they were being welcomed in/coming in legally, who are now on the plate for deportation with legal status and work permits evaporated.
