BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Small plane crashes into homes in San Diego, California.

A small plane crashed into a San Diego neighborhood during foggy weather early Thursday, setting about 15 homes on fire as well as vehicles, and forcing evacuations along several blocks, authorities said.

"Big Beautiful Bill" passed by the House last night contains enormous funding for Trump's border security & mass deportation agenda, including funding for an additional 10,000 ICE personnel. ICE has roughly only 5,500 deportation officers nationwide right now. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons told me it would be a "game changer" for them if that funding becomes reality, as it would more than double their personnel and expand detention capacity to about 100,000 beds.

The goal would be to hit 1 million deportations each year.

Bill also contains about $50 billion for reviving construction of the border wall, hiring 3,000 new Border Patrol agents, 5,000 new CBP officers, and signing and retention bonuses.

It also includes something the US has never done before - a $1,000 fee for migrants to seek asylum.

Thank you to the House and the leadership of President Trump in passing the Big Beautiful Bill. This Bill will add infrastructure and technology to make our gains on the borders permanent. It puts more boots on the ground to target cartel activity, alien smuggling, child trafficking and drug smuggling.  It will provide the needed funds and manpower to increase the great work of ICE on our deportation operations nationwide. We have many more public safety and national security threats to remove. This funding will allow ICE to vastly increase these efforts and keep the promise to America that we will enforce immigration law against those that are in this country illegally.  Now the Senate needs to step up. Border Security and National Security should not be a partisan issue. Let’s get this done!

Last night, I had the honor of being part of the 56th Annual Los Angeles County Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony at the Biscailuz Training Center. We added the names of Deputy Alfredo M. Flores, Patrolman Terry Dewitt Long, and Officer Raymond L. Messer to our Memorial Wall each representing a life given in service to others.
 
Through the 21-gun salute, the riderless horse, the passing of the Flame of Hope, and a candlelight vigil, we paid tribute to their courage, legacy, and unwavering dedication.
 
We don’t take an oath for fame or fortune. We take it for purpose. We join to protect, to serve, and to make a difference.
 
We will never forget.

Early this morning in McAllen, TX, the TxDPS Brush Team, U.S. Border Patrol, and TXMilitary apprehended 3 illegal immigrants from Mexico and Honduras who had just crossed the Rio Grande.

This is part of Operation Lone Star—a joint anti-smuggling effort in the RGV.

One man admitted he paid $2,500 to the cartel to cross. All 3 wore wristbands indicating cartel payment.

Texas will continue working with federal and military partners to deter illegal crossings and disrupt criminal smuggling operations.

The mission continues. 🇺🇸

Long Island: Police say an officer was hurt after a suspect slammed into his patrol car in Wantagh.

According to police, the officer was responding to a 911 call from a woman who feared for her life near the intersection of Route 135 and Sunrise Highway.

Police say Joseph Anderson choked the woman and ran when she called police.

Police found him nearby and say he approached them holding a pipe, then got back in his car, drove off and hit the patrol car. The officer is expected to be OK.
