The Butler County Sheriff's Office, Kansas, sadly announced the death of their K9 Bandit. Deputy McLaughlin was partnered with K9 Bandit. K9 Bandit and Deputy McLaughlin were with the Andover Police Department from August 2017 to September 2023. K9 Bandit was purchased from the Andover Police Department and placed back with Deputy McLaughlin in December 2023, where he remained until his passing on May 18th 2025.

NEW: School fight involving parents and teachers in Riverside goes viral.

The Riverside Police Department is investigating a fight at a high school that started when they say a group of adults breeched security to enter the campus to get revenge for a family member who was involved in a previous fight.

It happened on Tuesday morning on the campus of King High School in Riverside.

"At some point after (the first fight) ended, one of those students called family members to the school," said Ofc. Ryan Railsback. "Those members arrived and barged their way in through the office and went directly toward the one student who was fighting with their family member and started another fight."

The two shooting victims are connected to a foreign embassy, multiple sources confirmed. At least one of the people shot is believed to be a member of the Israeli Embassy staff, according to sources.

Danny Danon, the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, called the shooting a "depraved act of anti-Semitic terrorism" in a post on X.

BREAKING: DC police ID the suspected killer of two Israeli embassy staffers outside the Jewish Museum tonight as 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez of Chicago. They say after he was in custody, he yelled “Free Palestine”, and told police where he discarded the gun. The victims were reportedly a couple, and the man had bought a ring in preparation to propose to her.
