 Assistant Sheriff Jason Skeen kicked off the 50th Annual Memorial Torch Relay Run. The run, which consists of 56 legs of varying distance, will begin its non-stop journey from the Hall of Justice building in downtown Los Angeles and travel over 300 miles. The Memorial Torch will pass each of the mainland Sheriff’s stations over the course of three days.

The first Memorial Torch Run began on May 13th, 1975, establishing a long upstanding tradition proudly honoring the memory of those brave and dedicated individuals. Nearly 2,000 runners comprised of department personnel, law enforcement partners, and supporters are expected to participate in this meaningful event, carrying the Memorial Torch in honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

This year, we will pay special tribute to Deputy Alfredo M. Flores, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, E.O.W. April 20,2024, Officer Terry Dewitt Long, El Monte Police Department, E.O.W. August 22,2004, and Officer Raymond L. Messer, Department of Corrections, Lancaster, E.O.W. August 11,1951.

ES&S voting systems are programmed by design to do is take a pre-set % of ballots fed into their tabulators, and place those into a secret secondary electronic file.
The file is labeled "Blank Ballots".

The voter does not know, neither do the ground level election clerks. When the results are transmitted up to the County, somewhere bad actors "adjudicate" those Blank Ballots.

Yep, you can feed your ballot into an ES&S tabulator, have the scanned electronic image (which the votes are counted off) put into a second black box without your knowledge, and your votes changed.

A Chicago police dispatcher has been reported missing, and her family is asking for help in finding her.

Sana Bell, 31, was last seen Thursday afternoon after dropping off a rental car near 1313 East 60th Street in the Woodlawn neighborhood. She was wearing gray jogging pants at the time, and police say she may need medical attention.

Bell’s family and friends gathered Friday to search for her. They say she lives with depression and has previously experienced suicidal thoughts. They also said she frequently visits Chicago’s lakefront and often takes long rides on the CTA Red Line.

Police are asking anyone with information about Bell’s whereabouts to call the Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.

UPDATE: Man and woman dead after domestic violence stabbing sparked police shooting.

Officers shot the suspect after finding a female victim with multiple stab wounds, LAPD said. Both the man and the woman were later pronounced dead at the hospital.
