Georgia: A Coweta County deputy was injured in a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Hwy 154 and Springwater Chase.

The crash occurred while the deputy was responding to a call, and emergency crews from Coweta County Fire Rescue quickly arrived to provide medical assistance.

First responders, including paramedics, assessed and treated individuals hurt in the crash. The deputy was transported to the hospital with injuries. Crews worked to clear the wreck while maintaining safety in an area impacted by heavy traffic.

Officials have confirmed that the crash occurred between Raymond Hill Road and Hammock Road, prompting an extended investigation. The incident has since been cleared, though traffic congestion persisted in the aftermath.

Our thoughts are with the injured deputy and all those affected by the crash. πŸ™πŸ½

Southern California: A cooling trend will continue on Tuesday. There will be gusty west winds in the mountain communities and deserts. Temperatures are expected to warm up a bit Wednesday.

Tuesday morning was a soggy start for some commuters in Northern California as showers lingered across the region. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said clouds will thin out by late morning. The best areas for on-and-off showers will be in the Sierra. Snow is more likely to fall at elevations above 5,500 feet in the afternoon, but the best accumulations for snow will be above 7,000 feet.
