When Donald Trump spoke to a convention of conservative teens on Tuesday in Washington, he took the stage in front of a video backdrop that included a doctored presidential seal โ complete with a Russian emblem and a set of golf clubs. By Thursday afternoon Turning Point USA, the activist organization for young right-wingers, had fired a young aide who grabbed the wrong picture in a last-minute Google search. Instead of 'E pluribus unum,' the U.S. motto that means 'out of many, one' in Latin, the satirical version of the presidential seal โ seen by roughly 1,000 teens and a global online audience โ sported a new phrase: '45 es un titere.' That's Spanish for '45 is a puppet.' Dollar bills were substituted for the olive branch traditionally in the other foot's grasp. Hammer-and-sickle icons made appearances ona makeshift red, white and blue shield. The bird, too, was altered: In place of the bald eagle on the U.S. version, unchanged since 1960, a two-headed eagle from the Russian coat of arms appeared. ๐ #lol

Three robbers broke in to the family's home in Bandar Saujana, near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and threatened women and children with machetes before taking $10,000 in valuables. Scientists monitoring Western University's All-Sky Camera Network observed a bright fireball streaking across southern Ontario and Quebec, Canada, at 2:44 a.m. ET Wednesday morning, and say it likely left a few pieces of itself behind. The team is now calling on meteorite hunters in the area to join in on the search for any fragments, as these samples can provide key insight on the history of our solar system. ๐ฅ
Sixteen US Marines have been arrested for alleged involvement in a variety of illegal activities ranging from human smuggling to drug-related offenses. The arrests took place on Thursday morning at Camp Pendleton, California, during a battalion formation, a statement from the Marine Corps said. Earlier this month two active-duty Marines were arrested for allegedly smuggling a trio of illegal immigrants near the US-Mexico border. 'Information gained from a previous human smuggling investigation precipitated the arrests,' the statement said. 'None of the Marines arrested or detained for questioning served in support of the Southwest Border Support mission.'

The president weighed in after three men had already been arrested for the dousing incidents which went viral on the internet. The videos show men throwing buckets of water on police officers responding to calls in Harlem and in Brooklyn, and walking away from the incident without making immediate arrests.
