Detective Lane joined the Los Angeles Police Department in November 2007, dedicating 17 years of his life to serving others. Assigned to the 77th Street Gang Detectives, he worked the front lines of some of our city’s most complex and challenging cases. His mission was never just about solving crimes—it was about protecting families, building safer communities, and showing up every single day with purpose and integrity.

Pat was a remarkable investigator—sharp, methodical, and driven. But beyond the badge, he was something even greater: a humble, positive, and genuinely good person. The kind of teammate who lifted everyone around him. The kind of friend who always had your back. His calm presence and full heart left a mark that will be felt for years to come.

He served alongside some of the most committed, intelligent, and high-functioning detectives this Department has ever known—and even in that company, Pat stood out. He was more than a coworker. He was family.

Detective Lane wore the badge with honor—never for recognition, but because he truly believed in what it stood for. He approached each day with quiet determination and a deep sense of duty. We were fortunate to witness his dedication firsthand, as he played a key role in taking violent offenders off our streets and making our neighborhoods safer. His legacy is real, lasting, and deeply personal.

We are devastated by this loss. There are no words big enough to capture what he meant to us, but we hope the world remembers him not only as a great detective—but as the kind, selfless, and extraordinary man he truly was.

Thank you for everything, Pat. You will never be forgotten.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Around 100 pro-Hamas terrorists marched down Le Conte Avenue, blocking traffic.

Good morning. The House of Representatives just passed my Resolution to stop California’s insane gas car ban. It was a bipartisan vote.

This is a major victory for common sense and a massive humiliation for Gavin Newsom.

If President Trump wants to implement the pro-police policies he outlined in his April 29 Executive Order, a good start would be dropping two unjust (but ongoing) federal prosecutions of police.

WATCH: High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Arrest in Webb County | 4-23-25

A human smuggler from Laredo led TxDPS Troopers on a high-speed chase through Webb County before bailing out alongside six illegal immigrants. Troopers pursued on foot, and thanks to the quick action of a private citizen who assisted in the chase, the driver—identified as Angel Munoz—was apprehended.

Munoz now faces six counts of human smuggling and evading arrest. The six illegal immigrants from Mexico were referred to U.S. Border Patrol.

This incident highlights the unwavering determination of our DPS Troopers and the vital role our communities play in supporting #OperationLoneStar. Together, we continue the mission to stop criminal smuggling operations and secure our border.

The mission continues.

The new face of the Democrat Party, who took the “bold” step of calling for yet another impeachment of President Trump, looks to be detracting attention from his own issues, including campaign debt of around $800,000.

EXCLUSIVE: DHS knowingly released convicted sex offenders into the US under the Biden regime's leadership

The agency required sex offenders to register for a "sexual deviancy counseling program" and to register as a sex offender within a specific time frame.

These forms were to be filled out before their release.

This information was ONLY obtained after I sued TSA for failing to comply with my FOIA request.

The Biden regime lied and said these documents did not exist, but the Trump administration has since turned them over.
