California: An accidental shooting at the Lassen County Superior Court left a law enforcement officer injured on Friday afternoon.

The Lassen County Dispatch Center received a 911 call about the incident at approximately 4 p.m.

Upon arrival, sheriff's office personnel discovered the officer had sustained a leg injury from an accidental gunshot wound. The officer was transported to a hospital outside the area with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

After Battering Oil/Gas Industry, Gavin Newsom Wants California Oil Refineries to Stay Open?

Gov. Newsom signed a package of ‘sweeping legislation’ in Sept 2022 to achieve statewide carbon neutrality, an 85% emissions reduction target, capping oil wells, slowing oil and gas permitting, making it impossible to increase refining capacity, and entirely phasing out oil and gas starting in two years.

A St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department police officer is recovering in the hospital after a serious crash Thursday afternoon while responding to a call about a stolen vehicle.

The incident took place just before 1 p.m. at North Vandeventer and Bell avenues, police said, just north of Cardinal Ritter High School.

The officer was in the area to assist with the arrest of suspects operating a stolen vehicle, police said.

Police said the officer had turned on his lights and siren before he crashed with another vehicle.

Police said the officer was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his leg and wrist, including what the department believed was a broken femur.

No matter what deal I make with respect to Russia/Ukraine, no matter how good it is, even if it’s the greatest deal ever made, The Failing New York Times will speak BADLY of it. Liddle’ Peter Baker, the very biased and untalented writer for The Times, followed his Editor’s demands and wrote that Ukraine should get back territory, including, I suppose, Crimea, and other ridiculous requests, in order to stop the killing that is worse than anything since World War II. Why doesn’t this lightweight reporter say that it was Obama who made it possible for Russia to steal Crimea from Ukraine without even a shot being fired. It was also Liddle’ Peter who wrote an absolutely fawning, yet terribly written Biography, on Obama. It was a JOKE! Did Baker ever criticize the Obama Crimea Giveaway? NO, not once, only TRUMP, and I’ve had nothing to do with this stupid war, other than early on, when I gave Ukraine Javelins, and Obama gave them sheets. This is Sleepy Joe Biden’s War, not mine. It was a loser from day one, and should have never happened, and wouldn’t have happened if I were President at the time. I’m just trying to clean up the mess that was left to me by Obama and Biden, and what a mess it is. With all of that being said, there was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas, cities and towns, over the last few days. It makes me think that maybe he doesn’t want to stop the war, he’s just tapping me along, and has to be dealt with differently, through “Banking” or “Secondary Sanctions?” Too many people are dying!!!

NEW: Washington lawmakers approve 6-cent gas tax hike with July start date.

Late Friday, the Senate passed Senate Bill 5801, a sweeping transportation revenue package anchored by a 6-cent gas tax hike, by a bipartisan 31-17 vote. The House approved the plan a day earlier. Gov. Bob Ferguson is expected to review the package soon, but it’s highly likely it is signed when it hits his desk.

NEW: A small plane crashed early this afternoon in White County, Tennessee.

All three people aboard are deceased. Witnesses say the plane came down in a field hitting a creek bank off of Almyra Road.

Authorities are on scene and both the NTSB and FAA have been notified and are enroute.

No word yet on the cause or the origin or destination of the plane … or the names of those onboard.
