Virginia: A Henrico man faces multiple charges after police say he assaulted two officers during a traffic stop.
Police say the incident happened in the 900 block of Winterstick Place just after midnight Wednesday.
“An occupant of the vehicle exited the vehicle and shortly after began fighting with officers,” Henrico Police said. “The taser was deployed to affect the arrest.”
The suspect, 47-year-old Eric A. Barden, was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and two other charges.
“One officer was injured and transported with non-life-threatening injuries,” Henrico Police said Wednesday afternoon.

The eagle’s wing was caught by a fishhook, attached to some fishing line hanging from a nearby tree along the Neches River. The 4-year-old eagle is currently recovering at the Houston SPCA’s Wildlife Center. 🦅
