Vermont: A police officer was injured when an arrest went awry in Colchester.

Police say on Sunday night, they recognized a wanted man, Joshua Burgess, 40, of Milton, at a gas station.

With multiple warrants for his arrest, police tried to take him into custody.

Police say he drove away, and when they caught him, Burgess allegedly grabbed and fired the officer’s Taser.

Another Colchester officer arrived on the scene and pepper-sprayed Burgess before arresting him.

NEW: ICE Boston has arrested another illegal alien alleged pedophile. This time, a previously deported Brazilian woman accused of raping a child relative. She was arraigned last month in Falmouth, MA on charges of incest, aggravated child rape, unnatural acts with a child, indecent assault on a child, and indecent exposure, and was released from local custody.

ICE has now transferred her to the custody of U.S. Marshals.

A jewelry store in downtown Los Angeles was targeted by burglars on Monday in a raid that may cost the business millions of dollars.

NEW: Pursuit ends in crash at Glendale and Park in Echo Park. Suspect is in custody. Seems to be no major injuries.

Minnesota: Deputy Arnold Logan Waldner, 30, Nobles County Sheriff's Office suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash Sunday afternoon on an Interstate.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Waldner was driving a 2023 Dodge Durango squad car when it collided with another car. The other driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Update: Feds investigate LA County homeless spending.

Billions of dollars have been spent in LA County, yet the problem of homelessness remains far from being solved. Now a federal task force is investigating possible fraud and corruption. That task force is lead by the new US Attorney for the region Bill Essayli.

Bill Essayli says the biggest change with him as U.S. Attorney for SoCal, is re: immigration.

He says in a week, he's already filed for 200 illegal aliens with criminal convictions to be removed. He says there were 0 filings in the previous admin.
