Jonathan A. Barajas Nava, 37, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was sentenced in Los Angeles today to 51 months in federal prison for setting a San Bernardino County church and preschool on fire last year while children and school employees were inside.

The suspect, since identified as 31-year-old Demontez Anderson has been charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault, and injuring a public service animal.

Vermont: A police officer was injured when an arrest went awry in Colchester.

Police say on Sunday night, they recognized a wanted man, Joshua Burgess, 40, of Milton, at a gas station.

With multiple warrants for his arrest, police tried to take him into custody.

Police say he drove away, and when they caught him, Burgess allegedly grabbed and fired the officer’s Taser.

Another Colchester officer arrived on the scene and pepper-sprayed Burgess before arresting him.

NEW: ICE Boston has arrested another illegal alien alleged pedophile. This time, a previously deported Brazilian woman accused of raping a child relative. She was arraigned last month in Falmouth, MA on charges of incest, aggravated child rape, unnatural acts with a child, indecent assault on a child, and indecent exposure, and was released from local custody.

ICE has now transferred her to the custody of U.S. Marshals.
