A Utah man is in custody following a shooting and car chase that started in South Salt Lake and led police to Taylorsville.

Troopers report they could hear screaming before shots were fired from inside the residence. The brother returned to the troopers, saying that Carson had a black rifle and pointed it at him multiple times. The shooting would continue for several minutes sporadically.

Eventually, the garage door of the home opened and investigators witnessed Moffitt drive out inside of the Subaru. It wasn't until a Taylorsville officer crashed into Moffitt that he could be taken into custody. The officer who was involved in the crash was taken to the hospital with minor injuries but was released.

It is with sadness that the Whitewater Fire Protection District, Missouri, announces the Line of Duty Death of Fire Chief Garry Moore.

At 19:01 hours on April 2, 2025, Whitewater Fire Protection District responded to a mutual-aid request to Delta, Missouri to assist with search and rescue efforts due to widespread damage from a presumed tornado.

During the response, Chief Moore observed a vehicle off the roadway and stopped to assess the incident and render aid if needed.

A short time later, Chief Moore was found unconscious at the scene.

Rest In Peace, Hero 💔🖤

Our owner, Kyle Reyes, suggests an executive order that expands the ability for sheriffs or police chiefs to deputize combat veterans and other operators, which could go a long way in helping the recruitment process across our nation speed up drastically, and providing additional support for Tom Homan's deportation efforts as well.

GREAT show of support for Deputy Trevor Kirk who was wrongfully convicted by a federal jury under the Biden administration for a category 1 (pepper spray!) use of force on a SUSPECT THAT WAS RESISTING ARREST.

Trevor Kirk’s  attorney, Nick Wilson, LASPA president Cesar Romero, former sheriff Alex Villanueva, deputies and supporters, were on hand to stand together in solidarity for their brother and the Boycott of Baker-To-Vegas event. Well over 20 teams are sitting out the event. Yet another HUGE BLACK EYE to the failed leadership of @LACoSheriff
