A charter bus carrying 15 members of a church group ran off a highway after striking a bridge support Sunday in southern Colorado, killing two people and injuring several others, a state patrol official said.

The video's release comes less than a week after three US senators were reportedly briefed by the Pentagon about recent reports of UFO sightings by Navy pilots. One of those senators was Mark Warner (D-Va.), the vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, whose spokesperson said: 'If naval pilots are running into unexplained interference in the air, that's a safety concern Senator Warner believes we need to get to the bottom of,' Politico reported. The briefing was delivered by the Navy and included staff from the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, it was also reported. A third body has been found in the rubble of a burned-out mobile home in California, bringing to five the number of dead in a shooting and fire that began during an argument at a golf course, authorities said. Santa Maria police identified Kurt Bracke, 70, and Richard Hanen, 78, as the victims who were fatally shot. Residents told The Santa Maria Times there had been a long-standing feud between the two men and the shooter that boiled over Friday at the golf course of the Casa Grande Mobile Estates in Santa Maria, a coastal city about 140 miles northwest of Los Angeles. The shooter has not been identified.

Chicago police have released video footage related to Empire actor Jussie Smollett's alleged hate crime case where he claimed he was attacked by two men who launched racial and homophobic slurs at him and threw a noose around his neck. Some of the never-before-seen 69 hours of video released Monday include footage of Smollett walking with that noose dangling from his neck and asking police to turn off their body cameras. Smollett came under scrutiny after the alleged attack on January 29 around 2am after no surveillance video footage of the incident was found. Police later determined that he staged the attack and charged him with filing a false police report.👮🏻‍♂️

A second video released Monday shows the moment cops arrest the Osundairo brothers on February 14 on the tarmac at the Chicago O'Hare international airport after returning from a trip to Nigeria. During the arrest the two appear to be silent and cooperate with officers as they're escorted to a squad car and put their luggage inside.
