The Phoenix Police Department have released the surveillance video of the moment a father appeared to shoplift before he and his family, including his four-year-old daughter, were held at gunpoint by officers. They were followed home by Phoenix police who believed they had shoplifted from a Family Dollar store. Their four-year-old daughter had taken a $1 doll without their knowledge. Police have now released the surveillance video that shows the girl with the doll in her hands while she shows it to a woman inside the store. The woman is seen signaling for the girl to put the doll down before she walks outside. Another clip of the video shows the girl's father, who has been identified as Ames, stealing a pair of underwear from a package, according to police. Ames is seen grabbing the package and appearing to open it while squatting in the store.๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ
The Pentagon has released new color pictures which it says are proof of Iran's involvement in last week's tanker blasts - as America deploys 1,000 more troops to shore up its defenses in the tense Middle East. Taken from a Navy helicopter, the pictures purport to show Iranian Revolutionary Guard members in an armed patrol boat removing an unexploded limpet mine from the Kokuka Courageous, one of the tankers hit by an explosion in the Gulf of Oman. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has reached out to European and Asian leaders to convince them, after Germany cast doubt on the U.S. claims.

Bloomberg News reported that the Pentagon also revealed what it says is a new timeline of the attacks, saying that U.S. forces were first alerted to the attacks by the Front Altair tanker at 7.12 a.m. local time (4.12 a.m. British summer time, and 11.12 p.m. Wednesday EST). That was followed by an explosion reported at 8 a.m. on the Courageous - although its crew said that there was an external projectile, not a mine. And four hours afterwards, the military says that an Iranian fast patrol boat of the Gashti class was seen alongside the Courageous removing what it says is a limpet mine from the vessel.
