The footage, which was filmed on May 30, shows the replacement of rusty, antiquated fences with a tall, 30-foot barrier that is designed to stop migrants from crossing into Arizona from Mexico. 'Construction of the ~22 miles of primary border wall near San Luis, AZ continues to progress,' Customs and Border Protection tweeted on Tuesday. 'This aerial footage was taken on May 30 and shows the ~1.1 miles of 30 foot wall that have been installed to date.' In April, construction crews broke ground on the replacement of 26 miles of old fencing in the border region near Yuma, Arizona. 🗿
