Social media blew up with comments about the celebrity relationship as Swifties descended into NFL spaces and made traditional sports fans amusingly uncomfortable. But her affect since on the league's popularity is undeniable. So when Swift showed up at Met Life stadium to watch the Chiefs beat the New York Jets, NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcasters decided to mention her and show her every five minutes on the screen, most people understood what was going on. She also reportedly also owns a Dassault Falcon 7X. While some are fine with Swift enjoying the fruits of her labor by engaging convenient, private travel, other, more environmentally conscious people, note that her private plane reportedly took 170 flights just in the first half of 2022, emitting more than 8,000 tons of emissions in the process — which works out to more than 1,000 times greater than the yearly average emissions for an individual. Next up for Kelce and the Chiefs is an Oct. 8 date with the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis.
