*Conspiracy theory pops up after Taylor Swift's takeover at Jets game*

Taylor Swift has had quite the year. After a brief hiatus, the mega pop star returned to the road with the "Eras Tour" that ran from March through Aug. 9 (though thanks to high demand additional dates have been added in 2023 and 2024). The stadium tour has already grossed more than $1 billion in sales, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time.Related: Travis Kelce's net worth: How much the NFL player makes thanks to contracts, endorsements, and more As fall approached and the main leg of her tour ended, for a moment, there was a brief reprieve from Taylor Swift mania. Social media blew up with comments about the celebrity relationship as Swifties descended into NFL spaces and made traditional sports fans amusingly uncomfortable. But her affect since on the league's popularity is undeniable. So when Swift showed up at Met Life stadium to watch the Chiefs beat the New York Jets, NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcasters decided to mention her and show her every five minutes on the screen, most people understood what was going on. She also reportedly also owns a Dassault Falcon 7X. While some are fine with Swift enjoying the fruits of her labor by engaging convenient, private travel, other, more environmentally conscious people, note that her private plane reportedly took 170 flights just in the first half of 2022, emitting more than 8,000 tons of emissions in the process — which works out to more than 1,000 times greater than the yearly average emissions for an individual. Next up for Kelce and the Chiefs is an Oct. 8 date with the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis. We'll have to see whether Swift shows up, and how the term "vikings" could play into the next conspiracy theory. Get investment guidance from trusted portfolio managers without the management fees.
