Huntress 在 2025 年 8 月发现了一起网络入侵事件，攻击者利用日志投毒（log poisoning）技术通过 phpMyAdmin 漏洞在网络服务器上植入了一个简单的 China Chopper 网络壳（web shell），并使用 AntSword 工具控制服务器，最终部署了 Nezha（一种轻量级开源服务器监控与任务管理工具）以及 Ghost RAT 恶意软件。这是首次公开报道 Nezha 被用于网络攻击的案例。攻击者可能已危害超过 100 台受害者设备，主要分布在台湾、日本、韩国和香港，显示出地缘政治针对性。攻击者利用公开工具以降低研究成本并规避检测，凸显了公开工具被滥用的风险。
