Open a photo in a chat > press the OCR button at the bottom right > tap and hold to select texts of the photo.

⚠️ TELEGRAM IS NOT DOWN
Telegram has migrated to 64-bit IDs. After updating Telegram, some users may have to wait a minute or two for their chat database to be optimized for 64-bits, but sometimes Telegram stuck on updating.
If your app is not updated:
1. You can send messages, but won't receive any of them.
2. You can't login using outdated app.

Update your app, or if you are using an outdated unofficial app then switch to the official app. telegram.org/apps

Protected Content in Groups and Channels
• Content creators can restrict the ability to forward messages from their groups and channels.
• When forwarding is restricted, users will also be unable to directly save media from the chat or take screenshots.
• Toggle this option on or off via Chat Info > Group / Channel Type.

Manage Connected Devices
• Tap the new button at the top of Settings > Devices to quickly log in to Telegram Desktop or Web by QR code.
• Choose how long a device may stay inactive before it's logged out automatically.
• Select a device to control whether it is allowed to accept Calls or new Secret Chats.

• When you request to join a community and its admin or bot-admin contacts you with a message, you will see which chat they are from at the top of the chat.
• Bot-admins can now ask users to complete tasks before they are allowed to join – like accepting community rules, passing a test, or making a donation to the content creators.
