Today’s: This FBI saved a 12 year old child from an alleged abuser.

Recently, out of FBI New Haven’s Child Exploitation Task Force with local partners, we arrested Bryan Cruz Solano (20) on federal charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Child.

Law enforcement had received a tip that Cruz was distributing child sexual abuse material including videos of himself with the 12 year old.

After investigators moved rapidly, Cruz was arrested and will face justice - after additional photos and videos of the victim had been found in his residence during the search.

UPDATE: Two hit by gunfire outside White House — the suspect and a possible bystander — and taken to hospital. Suspect in critical condition, second person in serious condition. US Secret Service agents were apparently shot at and returned fire at 17th and Penn. No agents injured.

Cleveland Ohio officer injured by glass amid gunfire near East 58th Street and Harvard Ave, police say

A person is in custody after allegedly shooting at a police cruiser and injuring an Ohio officer.

The shooting happened in Cleveland on Saturday.
A wanted suspect allegedly shot at officers near Fleet Avenue. An officer was shot and hit by shrapnel.

The Cleveland Police Department confirmed to WOIO that the shooting happened.
“Allegedly, someone shot at the officers’ car on Fleet Avenue,” Cleveland Police Patrolmen Union President Andy Gasiewski told WOIO.
Officers found the suspect after he reportedly crashed his vehicle, according to Cleveland Police.

“There are a lot of moving parts at the moment, and an extremely active investigation to gather clarity is ongoing,” Sgt. Wilfredo Diaz told Cleveland media outlets.
The suspect is in custody.

BREAKING: The gunman who opened fire near the White House on Saturday afternoon has been identified as 21-year-old Nasire Best of Maryland. He was shot by Secret Service agents and died on the way to the hospital.

Best allegedly had multiple prior encounters with the Secret Service and had a history of mental health issues. He believed he was Jesus Christ.

Best was detained by Secret Service on June 26, 2025, for flagging down agents and making threats, and again on July 10, 2025 for entering a restricted area.

NEW: A Hamilton County Tennessee Sheriff's Office, Deputy was injured, after a deer crashed through the deputy's windshield.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a deer suddenly entered the roadway on Dayton Pike, before going through the glass and landing in the passenger seat.

Authorities say the deputy received minor injures, but the deer died in the crash.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is now investigating the incident.
