Why California wildfires won't destroy Getty Center art: Inside the billion-dollar fortress protected by travertine stone-clad walls, crushed stone rooftops, million gallon underground water tank and even fire resistant acacia SHRUBS. Prized works of art in a museum in the path of California wildfires will be safe from flames because the building was built with fire-resistance in mind - including a own million-gallon water tank under its garage. Flames were seen raging along 405 Freeway near the Getty Center, which displays pre-20th century works of art by artists including Rembrandt and Van Gogh. However fire resistance was built into the billion-dollar complex, Ron Hartwig, vice president of communications for the J. Paul Getty Trust said previously. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
More than 20 climate change protesters were arrested on Tuesday morning as they targeted a mining conference in Melbourne, Australia. Ugly scuffles broke out as protesters blocking the disabled entrance to the city's Convention Centre had to be physically removed. Pictures showed a man with dreadlocks and red shorts desperately resisting officers while footage captured several policemen dragging a man away by the face as others used capsicum spray on demonstrators. Two of the protesters were arrested for alleged animal cruelty after a police horse was attacked, Victoria Police said. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Woman is 'accidentally kidnapped' off the street when motorcyclist closes garage's automatic doors on top of her and traps her inside the building. CCTV footage, believed to have been taken in Brazil, shows a motorcyclist riding out of a building and pausing for a moment before driving away. He activates his garage door's automatic close function - which then sweeps a passing woman inside. The motorcyclist appears oblivious to what has happened and drives away just before the footage comes to an end. ๐Ÿ˜‚ #funny

New dash cam video released shows a Tulsa police officer texting while driving seconds before getting in a wreck. The other driver was at fault after police say the driver crossed the median. It's something we're all taught not to do -- texting while driving -- a danger on the roads no matter who's behind the wheel. In this case, a Tulsa police officer was caught on camera texting while driving seconds before the other vehicle crashes into him, his airbag deploying in his face. Police say an officer was driving southbound on Riverside when a northbound Jeep Grand Cherokee crossed the center median and hit him on the driver's side of the vehicle.๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

A Utah man was arrested after he allegedly killed his mother and livestreamed several incriminating segments on Facebook. Jeffrey Langford, 24, was taken into custody after investigators determined he gave them conflicting statements about the death of his mother, 45-year-old Graciela Holker, at a home in North Salt Lake on Saturday. Police were responding to a report that a woman had killed herself, but were also told Langford posted a live video to Facebook showing the woman seemingly deceased as he said aloud that he wasn't going to jail, the Deseret News reported. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ
