Bud Light has another looming problem that can hurt its beer products

Thousands of union workers at Anheuser-Busch breweries, which craft Bud Light and other popular beer brands, across the U.S. have reached their breaking point and are threatening to strike as their current union contract is set to expire next month. Roughly 5,000 workers represented by Teamsters at 12 Anheuser-Busch breweries across the nation have voted by 99% to authorize a strike if Anheuser-Busch fails to agree on a “stronger new contract” to replace the one that expires on Feb. 29, according to a new press release. Related: Staffers at The Washington Post are fighting back The workers are pushing for the new contract to include improved wages, job security, and better health care and retirement benefits. “Our members’ labor, talent, and sacrifice are what put Anheuser-Busch products on the shelf, and we are committed to getting a contract that rewards and recognizes their hard work,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien in the press release. “If Anheuser-Busch’s executives can’t get their act together to negotiate an agreement that respects workers, we will see them out on the streets.” The union also notes that Anheuser-Busch has put off negotiations on “important job security issues” since mid-November last year, despite multiple requests by the union to jumpstart talks. Currently, there are no dates set for negotiations, but a strike could spell more trouble for Bud Light which is struggling to get back on its feet at the heels of a rough 2023. Last year, Bud Light faced a boycott from consumers after the beer brand featured Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender social media influencer, in one of its social media campaigns promoting a $15,000 giveaway. Also, Anheuser-Busch’s U.S. earnings plummeted by more than 10% during the second quarter last year, costing the company $395 million in earnings compared to the same quarter in 2022. It was also reported last year that Bud Light was being sold for less than water, and some production plants that craft the beer have been shut down amid a decline in sales. It seems that the boycott is still impacting Anheuser-Busch’s income as it reported a third-quarter 2023 year-over-year revenue declined of 13.5%. Everyone from Kylie Jenner to your reclusive neighbor who apparently hasn't left his house in months makes use of the helpful invention. And whether it's because you're in a pinch or simply don't want to turn the oven on and make chicken for the eighth straight day in a row, you probably have used it too. It may be said that many restaurants' very survival hinged on working with the top apps, particularly as many folks stayed at home during the 2020-2021 years. With the space accruing, IPO-ing, and consolidating over the past several years, there are a couple of key players that now remain to compete over market share. UberEats and Postmates (UBER) - Get Free Report are popular especially on the west coast. Seamless and Grubhub are more of a New York thing. But DoorDash (DASH) - Get Free Report remains the most popular in terms of downloads (it's the top free food app on Apple's app store) and claims the most market share, at 65%, give or take. As of 2024, DoorDash claims over 100,000 non-restaurant vendors on its platform. And in January, DoorDash announced it will add four new merchants to its lineup. They are: Camping WorldGolf GalaxyJD Sports & Finish LineThe Vitamin Shoppe And for the rest of January, shoppers can apply promo code "NEWYOU20" to get 20% off from these new stores. The addition of these brands brings the tally to nearly one million sporting goods items, 400,000 pet products, and 300,000 home and beauty products available on the DoorDash marketplace. DoorDash says it offers access to more retail shopping than any other marketplace in North America. Despite its rapid addition of new stores, DoorDash is still yet to turn a profit — a common thread in the delivery app space. Its Q3 ended September 2023 saw a net income of -$73 million (a 75% increase year-over-year). Uber, for its part, saw a net income of $221 million during its Q3 2023, though it has historically struggled to turn a profit and makes far more on ride sharing than food delivery overall (though that segment is steadily growing, too).

*Am I wrong for not giving my husband sex often ?*

He is a 31 M and I am a 29 F EDIT : we have sex once every 2 weeks. When I’m ovulating I tend to be more willing to have sex so during that week it’s like 2-3 times. I also pull some weight by working 3 days a week . The last few months he’s been telling me his coworkers have sex with their husbands when the husband ask. He’s been overhearing their conversations at work apparently. (He’s one of the few male nurses at his location) I for one don’t just agree to doing that. Sex should be mutual. Not something to be done because the man said so. We have 3 kids (6, 4 and a still breast fed 2 years old) I cook and clean and do things with the kiddos all the way to bed time. When he comes home from work her either takes a nap or hops on the game. By the end of the night I’m exhausted. It’s been difficult for me to have any type of sex drive due to everything around me and I’ve been used in relationships for sex before so I take my No’s to sex seriously. But because of this he told me I’m not caring for his needs. I understand he does a lot for our family and that working at 4 am isn’t easy. I give him his rest. I let him do as he pleases. I’m just drained. Half the time he has a chance when the girls are asleep but he’s still gaming by the time I get to sleepy to bother with sex. Now this has driven a wedge in our relationship. Am I wrong? EDIT #2 : did not expect so much traction on here. I appreciate any and all comments and advice. This place has been a safe zone for my thoughts even if it’s invalid or not. *AITAH for telling my postpartum wife the same thing she told me?*

So this is a throwaway and I really need some advice. So for some backstory about me when I was younger I was bullied for being fat basically and my mother wouldn't help me lose weight, so when I got into college I lost a lot of weight and gained muscle and now I'm 6'5 and 240 pounds. So me and my wife have been together since we were 25 we are now 32 and had our baby 6 months ago. She's had a hard time taking care of him so I've been helping in anyway I can, so I haven't had much time to go back to the gym. I haven't gained that much weight maybe 25 to 30 pounds, which is ok because I still look good. I plan to go back to the gym when he gets on a better sleep schedule and my wife isn't so tried. She's recently been telling me that I'm getting fat and I'm not as attractive as before. I mainly brush her comments off but she's been doing this a lot recently and it's been making me upset I've told her this and she said she'll stop but she hasn't. So I told her if you don't stop I'm going to say something you aren't not going to want to hear, she laughed and said okay while rolling her eyes. So on Monday she had called me fatty and said that I need to hit the gym before she calls my old classmates. I said I need to hit the gym it's been six months since you've had the baby you should not be looking that. She ran off crying, I haven't apologized because I don't know if I'm wrong or not. If I'm wrong I will go apologize, but I don't know. So aitah? Edit: she has not had any body issues in the past she always feels like whatever weight she is, is what wight she is.
