*AITA for losing my best friend over my abortion*

I (27 F) had a best friend (28F) for over 14 years. She was practically family to me so when I found out I got pregnant with my then boyfriend, she helped me find a gynaecologist and kept me calm. I did not choose to keep the baby for various reasons like not being able to afford it and the fact that it was unplanned. My friend and I had decided that she would accompany me on the day of the procedure. A day prior to it, she texted me saying her conscience doesn't allow her to be there for me without me letting my family know, especially if the procedure didn't go well. While I understood and respected her decision, I felt angry & abandoned and didn't know who to turn to for support as I did not want to involve my family. I asked another close friend(27M) to accompany me which he did and was there for me every step of the way. I ignored my best friend's text as I had repressed emotions and I did not want to address them immediately. She blocked me everywhere, told my mother about it and we haven't contacted each other since. AITA for not reaching out and moving on as I did not want a friend I couldn't rely on? UPDATE - I'm so overwhelmed by everyone's response. Although this happened a while ago and I'm not affected by it anymore, I wasn't sure if I had let my ego come in the way since she had been a wonderful friend otherwise. I know better now. Thank you.
