There is yet another major AAA game arriving on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Initially teased and announced back at Apple’s WWDC 2023 event—the tech giant’s annual developers conference—"Death Stranding" will arrive on select Apple devices on January 30, 2024. From 505 Games and Kojima Productions, "Death Stranding Directors Cut" first premiered on the PS4 2019—later on the PS5—but will now be arriving on a device that can fit in your hand and on Mac laptops, which keep getting more and more powerful. "Death Stranding Directors Cut" will work on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max as well as iPads and Mac Desktops or Laptops with the M1 chip or newer inside. Apple Even better, it’s a universal purchase, meaning that once you get it and download it on your iPhone, you can also download it and play it on an iPad or Mac. It costs $39.99, but if you preorder it today, it is 50% off at just $19.99. The title is also rated M on the ESRB scale. Online used car retailer Vroom (VRM) - Get Free Report announced in a statement on Jan. 22 that it will be exiting the space, suspend its buying and selling of cars and will sell off its remaining inventory through wholesale outlets. In addition, the company will begin laying off employees in an effort to save its liquidity. Vroom CEO Thomas Shortt said in a statement that though the company failed to raise necessary capital in order for it to operate, he is proud to see what the company has achieved over its two-year run. "Obviously, we are very disappointed with this outcome," said Shortt. "Two years ago, we set out to build a well-oiled machine, improve unit economics and dramatically improve our customer experience and I believe we achieved those goals," Vroom said that its finance arm, United Auto Credit Corporation, will continue to operate, as well as its AI-powered information hub CarStory.
