*Is my girlfriend inappropriate with her male best friend?*

I am not the jealous type guy, but my girlfriend has a male best friend that she lost close contact with and started getting colse with about a year ago. Over the holiday, she went to visit him and stay at his place a couple of nights, although her brother lives in the same city and she could have stayed. She was waiting for a music festival in the city before she flew out home. I said nothing as to not be controlling. Recently it was mentioned that she and this male friend sends each other hearts via texts. I don't really know how to feel about this. Edit: I have told her that this crosses a boundary for me, and that it places me in a lose-lose situation because staying quiet bothers me, and confronting her makes me look controlling. Edit 2: I am very open with communication with her, in the past when she wanted to stay over at another male friends house I told het I am not interrested in a relationship with this type of behaviour(previous things that happened), and she understood, I said I was ok with her staying at this guy's place because of their close friendship, but when I found out about the heart emojis they text each other it made me uncomfortable that she is taking advantage of my trust. submitted by /u/Murky_District8784 to r/NoStupidQuestions [link] [comments]
